Jr. ACRY Project
The National Junior ACRY has taken it upon itself to help aid the Diocesan mission of Saint John the Compassionate located in Toronto, Canada. This decision was made by the National Jr. ACRY at the National ACRY Convention held this past Labor Day Weekend.
The mission, which is run by the Very Reverend Father Roberto Ubertino, provides assistance to those in need in Toronto, Canada. The mission provides 2000 meals a month, plus job training and spiritual counsel to those in need.
The National Juniors are inviting all parishes, Church school classes, and other parish organizations to aid in this endeavor by providing for the needs of others through this diocesan mission during this season of the Great Fast(Lent). Our Junior Chapter will be sponsoring the Coffee Hour the whole month of March in order to help raise funds for the mission. Please likewise keep the mission in your daily Lenten prayers. Prayer and generosity of spirit can over come many needs.
The Community Prayer Cards Program
Pray for the person on this Prayer Card from now to Pascha (April 8). Prayer is expressed in many forms. You may choose to remain anonymous, or you may share with the person for whom you are praying. You can: pray for the person during liturgy, do an act of kindness for the person, share a doughnut during coffee hour, send a card, open the door, light a candle… be sincere and spiritual.

The candy forms have been handed out to the children. Please place your order with one of the children. Also additional forms are in the hall. Proceeds help the Sunday School & Altar Boy funds. Deadline for the Order forms is March 11.
