Annual Meeting

Join your fellow parishioners at the Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, February 25, 2007, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.  A packet of reports is being distributed after church today, one to a family, so you have time to read them prior to the meeting.  The reports include the Annual Meeting agenda, minutes of the previous annual meeting, the 2006 Treasurer's report, President's report, 2007 proposed Budget, the Capital Improvements Fund Master Plan, Election of Officers, and proposed Bylaw Changes Summary.

Come and participate in making future business decisions and elect Council officers for the positions of Vice President, Financial Secretary, Curator, and one Auditor.  Descriptions of the officer's responsibilities are included in the Election of Officers report. Dan Breno will be the Chairman of the Nominating Committee for the election of new officers at the annual meeting.  Anyone who would like to run for an office on the Church Council can see either Dan or John Hrapchak.

Jr. ACRY Project

The National Junior ACRY has taken it upon itself to help aid the Diocesan mission of Saint John the Compassionate located in Toronto, Canada. This decision was made by the National Jr. ACRY at the National ACRY Convention held this past Labor Day Weekend.

The mission, run by the Very Reverend Father Roberto Ubertino, provides assistance to those in need in Toronto, Canada. The mission provides 2000 meals a month, plus job training and spiritual counsel to those in need.

The National Juniors are inviting all parishes, Church school  classes and other parish organizations to aid in this endeavor by providing for the needs of others through this diocesan mission during this season of Lent . This appeal is a great opportunity to teach the lesson of our Lord in taking care of the needs of others. We minister to our Lord by meeting the needs of others.

Iconastas Project

A project is in the works to put woodwork over the blue panels on each side of the Iconastas.  This project will enhance the beauty of the current Iconastas.  If you would like to make a donation towards the funds to be used in this project, please mark an envelope with Icon Screen Project.
