Confessions will be heard on Sunday mornings from 9:15-9:45am and by appointment. All faithful are encouraged to come to the Sacrament every 8 weeks, on average, to help maintain spiritual health. This is especially for those who frequently “with Faith and with Love come forward” to receive the Body and Blood of Christ!

After Divine Services this morning, these and other baked goods – freshly baked yesterday – will be available for purchase during coffee hour. Order forms are available in the hall. Yes, you can buy “on credit,” and yes, you can have your order frozen for a later pickup. The next Bake Day on 17 November. We need all the helping hands we can get!!!!!

The 50th Anniversary celebration is only 10 months away. Now is the time to get the remainder of the planning underway. We need to set up committees for the various tasks that need to be done. A meeting will be held after Divine Services on today. We need volunteers. If you can help, in any way, please make plans to stay for the meeting. If you have any questions, see either Father or Mike Buchko.

THE HOLY RESURRECTION CHRISTMAS CARD PROJECT: With the price of cards and postage increasing, we have come up with a way to make sending your Christmas greetings to the parish family easier and less expensive. For a donation of $20 you can have your household listed in a card that will be sent to home of each parishioner. Your donation will cover the cost of cards, printing and postage. If you have any questions about this project, or to hand in your donation, please see Father or Pani during Coffee Hour. Names are already beginning to come it. Deadline to submit names will be Sunday 18 November.

The new edition of “The Orthodox Study Bible” (now with complete Old & New Testament) will be coming out in February. You can pre-order (with a discount of 40%!) through the church. Make plans now: Fall ‘Clean-Up Day’ will be on Saturday 17 November. Yes, it is the same day as our Bake Day, so if you are not helping at one event, please help with the other. The idea is not to take people from either project, but to get the parish family together to work on different projects at the same time. Come and lend a hand (or two!).
