Church Picnic

The Annual Appreciation Picnic is Today. following the Liturgy. All are invited to participate in the days events. The picnic is catered so there is plenty for everyone. There will be fun and good company for all. Please join us for an enjoyable afternoon.

The picnic is given in appreciation for all the hard work given by our Holy Resurrection parishioners throughout the year. Thank you and Many Years!

Also the Volunteer of the Year Award will be given out at the Liturgy.

Iconastas Project

There are donation forms attached to the bulletin and are also available in the hall which have information about the Iconastas Project. The project will extend the current woodwork and add doors. You can use this form to make a donation towards the project or use a regular envelope. A total of $5,450.00 has been donated to date.

Camp Forms

Our camp week at Camp Nazareth is July 15-21. Children who are ages 8-18 are eligible to attend. Registration forms and booklets with information on the camp week are in the hall. Transportation will be arranged for the children who need a ride.

Calendar Vote Information

The official ballots will be handed out after liturgy on both June 3 and June 10. Remaining ballots will be mailed after the 10th. At any time, ballots can be turned in, but only to an SEC member. They must be returned by counting day, July 22. All are welcomed to attend the counting. If you have any questions, contact an SEC member immediately. They are: Very Rev. Fr. Miles, Michael Buchko, Jr., Marie Sudik, Kevin Lindsay, and Mark Braun.

Altar Boys Retreat

The Diocesan Altar Boy Retreat is scheduled for June 24-27, in Johnstown, PA. All Altar Boys of the parish are urged to participate in this fun and educational event. The cost of the retreat is underwritten by the Altar Boy Fund. There is also a special 50th anniversary event planned at Camp Nazareth from August 17-19. Forms are in the hall and available on line at the Diocesan web site. www.acrod.org.

Father’s Day

The parish Father’s Day Breakfast will be held on Sunday, June 17. There will be a meal served in the hall following the Divine Liturgy. Everyone is welcome to attend as we honor our Fathers both living and fallen asleep in the Lord.

Children’s Camp Fund

The parish camp fund for the children helps defray the cost of sending our children to Camp Nazareth. It is used to underwrite the cost of transporting the children to and from the camp. Your donations help make the transportation possible.
