Youth Project

The Lenten Youth Project, had a goal of raising $6,000 for the St. John the Compassionate Mission in Toronto, Ontario. As of May 25, the goal has been met and exceeded, with a total of over $8,600.00 having been raised. These funds will enable the mission to keep the cook employed for well over the next year while the mission serves over 24,000 meals to the needy in the Toronto area. The Jr. ACRY both locally and nationally would like to thank everyone for their generosity in the project. The project involved everyone in the diocese at every level imagined: Parishes, ACRY Chapters, Parish Organizations, Church School Classes, and Individuals all aided to make this goal a reality. It is amazing what can be done when we follow God’s command to love one another.
