Announcements:

Confessions will be heard on Sunday mornings from 9:15-9:45am and by appointment. All faithful are encouraged to come to the Sacrament every 8 weeks, on average, to help maintain spiritual health. This is especially for those who frequently “with Faith and with Love come forward” to receive the Body and Blood of Christ!

Home Blessings have begun and will continue until Saturday 1 March. Please either fill out a form or see Father as soon as possible to schedule an appointment. Forms are available on the information table in the parish hall. See the guide below as to preparing your home for the Priest’s arrival.

Our first Bake Day of the Spring will be this Saturday, 9 February. We welcome untrained labor; skilled practitioners will train you how to do the tasks necessary. You get nice breakfast snacks and a lunch, and great fellowship. You get to see Father's famous apron. Most stay from 8:30 am to 2 pm. Help with cleanup is greatly appreciated. Whatever amount of time you can give, even if only 1 hour, is appreciated.

Mark your calendar: The Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Sunday 24 Feb (snow date 9 March) 2008. All members of the parish family who are in good sacramental and financial good standing are asked to attend.

The Annual Meeting agenda, minutes of the last meeting, the Treasurer’s Report for 2007, the President’s Report, the 2008 Budget, and the Capital Improvement Fund Report will be distributed on February 3rd so you have time to read them. Each family is requested to take only one packet of reports. Please bring your packet to the meeting with any questions you may have. Thank you to those who helped assemble the packets this morning! (Many Years!)

Come and join your fellow parishioners to take part in the meeting on February 24 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. A list of the officers to be elected and their duties was attached to the January 27th bulletin and is also posted on the Bulletin Board. If you are interested in being an officer or nominating someone, talk to Dan Breno, nominating committee chair.

The Jr. ACRY subs are available for pick up after Divine Services this morning. There are a few extras for those who did not order yet. Also they will be taking a collection for St. John the Compassionate Mission in Toronto, Canada. Please help our young people help this vital mission of our Diocese!

Gertrude Hawk Candy orders for the Easter season are now available. Forms must be returned to either Father or Paňi no later than Sunday 17 February! (remember, the West has their Easter date of 23 March).

Do you miss being able to be at Divine Liturgy when you are sick at home and cannot make it to church? St. Nicholas of Myra Orthodox Church on 10th St. in Manhattan has a solution. A toll-free number is available to be able to listen to the Liturgy LIVE over the phone every Sunday morning at 10am. Simply call 1-800-910-3597. Enter code (2546685#) and state your name. The phone will mute so that you can hear them but they cannot hear you.

The new and improved Holy Resurrection Website is now up and running! Check the new features and see new photos. Thanks to Web Committee for all of your hard work! (Many Years!) If you have any suggestions or constructive criticisms, please see Mike Buchko.
