Announcements:

Confessions will be heard on Sunday mornings from 9:15-9:45am and by appointment. All faithful are encouraged to come to the Sacrament every 8 weeks, on average, to help maintain spiritual health. This is especially for those who frequently “with Faith and with Love come forward” to receive the Body and Blood of Christ.

A reminder that this Thursday, the Feast of the Elevation of the Holy Cross, is a Strict Fast Day, meaning no meat or dairy products are to be eaten.

A special collection will be today following Divine Services for the relief fund to help Greece. Please be kind and generous in your offering. Thank you.

Deepest sympathies are extended to Very Rev. Robert Prepelka (St. John’s-Ambridge) on the sudden ‘falling asleep in the Lord’ of his father, +Frank Prepelka. Funeral will be tomorrow at St. Nicholas Church-Homestead. (Fr. Peter is planning on attending and will be home by late evening.) May God grant rest to the soul of His newly-departed servant +FRANK) and may his memory be Eternal!

The Jr. ACRY will have their next meeting after Divine Services today. All ACRY members are asked to attend. New members are welcome. Iraqi school supply packages will be assembled on 30 September.

We need a volunteer(s) for Coffee Hour next Sunday, 30 Sept.-the date was never listed on the sign up sheet. Please place your name on the sheet. Thank You!

Order forms for the next two bakes will be distributed shortly, once the other two fall bake dates are finalized. Yes, you can buy “on credit,” and yes, you can have your order frozen for a later pickup. (The proceeds from these bake days will be donated to causes, such as IOCC, voted by the volunteers.) Thank you to all who came to bake yesterday (a complete list will be printed next Sunday). May God bless them for their labors! (Many Years!)
